As at 31 March 2012, 579 projects were registered with the ASF to assist with their fundraising for sport related projects. 315 of these projects are registered by local sports clubs and associations often run by volunteer committees.

These include projects to purchase sporting equipment, build sporting facilities, conduct coaching clinics and ‘Come and Try’ days, host major sporting events and undertake team travel.

As well as these clubs and associations, 88 schools or school related entities such as Parent & Friend Associations have projects registered.  Schools primarily, but not exclusively register projects to purchase sport related equipment.

‘Being able to offer our members a tax deduction for their support of our Water Project made the process of facilitating contributions that much easier. In the end with help of the ASF we were able to exceed our fundraising objectives.
