I am a development athlete for Australia in Skeleton, with ambitions to compete at the elite level in the World Cup, World Championship, and the 2026 Winter Olympics. To achieve these goals, countless hours per week of training are required both in Australia and abroad, plus access to specialist equipment and coaching.

As an Australian elite winter athlete with very limited access to funding, the vast majority of my training and travel costs are self-funded, making this sport extremely financially straining. When considering that I will need to be training and competing outside of Australia for up to 6 months of the year, it will not be possible for me to achieve my dreams without financial support and sponsorship.

In this sport, where competitors win races by as little as a 100th of a second, being able to afford to access training opportunities is vital to competing, especially as I’ll be competing against larger European, Asian, and North American nations who generally receive greater support.
