About the project

Para Athlete Daniel Kirk made his Australia team debut at the 2017 World Para Athletic Championships. Qualifying for the final round, Daniel finished 7th in the world achieving a new Australian and Oceania record in the F44 Discus Throw. Daniel also competed in the F44 Shotput finishing 5th in the world. Daniel's goal now it to compete and medal at the 2019 and 2021 World Para Athletic Championships and ultimately the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics games. Daniel is passionate about expanding the reach of Para Sport both in Australia and across the world. He would like to share the opportunity that Para Sport can offer those living with an impairment to other that may wish to explore their own passion. Aside from competing, Daniel has a passion for athlete welfare and social inclusion in sport.
