About the project

I have recently been selected to represent the Junior Australian Spirit Team at the U19 World Women's Softball Championships in August 2019, Irvine, California. Unfortunately with no funding being available for the team and softball being such a niche sport in comparison to other with sponsorships, the $9000 levy is fully self funded. All donations will go towards paying my levy, which will allow me to travel to the USA, train prior to the championships with my team and then compete in the World Championships.

Years of hard work, training, dedication, support from my coaches with unlimited and unwavering support from my family have enabled me to get this far. I am super excited to test my skills and knowledge of the game against the USA, Japan, Canada and other leading softball nations. 16 countries will be in attendance at this championship and in hopes that my commitment, gratitude and competitiveness for the game has paid off, I aspire to bring home a medal for the national and individual glory. This team and world championship is also a journey on a pathway to my future goals to compete in the Olympics and further represent Australia at Open World Championships. To have this amazing opportunity means more then words can describe. Not only will having this experience be a huge benefit to myself, but to share the things I learn along the way with all the young girls I coach and train back home.

I can not thank you enough for your generosity and donation.
