Kate is a Paralympic triathlete, returning to the international paratriathlon circuit in 2019, seven months after giving birth to son, Henrik.
Kate's goal is representing Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
Kate was ranked 2nd in the World Paratriathlon rankings in her category, PT5 at the end of the 2017 season.
As a new mother, many challenges are faced, but Kate also needs to travel and race all over the world during the 2019/2020 racing seasons with the hope of lifting her world ranking and meeting requirements to qualify for Tokyo 2020.
Kate trains as a triathlete full time under the expert guidance of coach Danielle Stefano at Elotik Pro Triathlon. Kate also works part time as a Psychologist in the area of and culture and inclusion; all on top of her most important role as a mother.
All funds raised will go towards travel and accommodation, extra travel support to assist with caring for her son while on the triathlon circuit and daily costs of training and racing.
