About the project

Riley compete’s in the discipline of Show Jumping. He is a determined young rider from Sydney who moved to the United States in 2017 to pursue a career in the sport. He has competed successfully at Young Rider and Mini Prix level and won the FEI Children’s Jumping Competition in 2012. In America he has competed up to 1.35m at some of America’s biggest shows including the Wellington Equestrian Festival, Old Salem and the Palm Beach Masters as well as worked extensively with young horses.


Riley has worked for many talented riders including Olympian Vicki Roycroft and top 100 rider Andrew Kocher. He is currently training with Pan Am Games and World Cup Final rider Jorge Verswyvel, Jorge has mentored top riders including Angel and Alejandro Karolyi who are consistently jumping at the 5* level. The next step for Riley’s career involves moving into the U25 division and then into the National and FEI 2* Grand Prix’s with future goals of competing at the WEG 2022 and Paris Olympics in 2024. In order for him to do this he will need to continue to learn and gain experience. Your contribution will greatly help Riley achieve these goals. 


Funds raised will go toward show expenses in order for Riley to continue to compete and gain experience. Riley has an amazing opportunity to show top quality horses owned by the Verswyvel family in bigger and more prestigious classes, helping him pursue his goals.
