Ryan is set to participate in the upcoming WBSC World Championship set to take place in the Yukon, Canada. Ryan has progressed through junior levels of softball and participated in one previous mens World Championship in 2015. Due to the sports low profile funding is minimal putting the financial strain on the athlete to pay levies to cover costs of travel and accommodation. Ryan has competed at all levels of international softball including playing in the North American season circuit. This has allowed Ryan to become a Aussie Steeler caliber player and looks to help the Steelers become World champions for the second time.
