Stuart Tinney is no stranger to the Olympic sport of Equestrian EVENTING. Stuart has represented Australia at 3 Olympic Games. Winning GOLD for Australia on home ground SYDNEY 2000, Athens Olympics in 2004 completing however outside a podium finish. 2016 winning BRONZE for Australia at RIO DE JANEIRO. With 3 World Championships also under his belt the most recent being in Normandy France 2014 finishing a credible 11th as an individual. Stuart runs an Equestrian yard 1 hour from Sydney with his wife Karen, where they coach and train.
Stuart continues to train as an Elite rider and is pursuing his fourth Olympics with hopeful representation in Tokyo 2020, which is supported by Equestrian National High Performance program. With mounting costs related to training and competing plus high expenses within the sport, the cost of an Olympic program can be a big financial burden. Money raised on this platform will help Stuart compete to his best ability and help with all general expenses associated with the sport of Equestrian EVENTING.
