ABOUT Bryce Krause
My name is Bryce Krause and I am 15yrs old from Dalby who attends Toowoomba Grammar School. I am National Swimming Champion who holds several Australian swimming records and I am in the Australian Institute of Sport system. I represent TGS at the yearly GPS Championships and also swim for Fairholme Swimming Club.
I am reaching out to you for financial assistance to help fund my trips to the Australian Swimming Commonwealth Games Trials in Sydney in June and the Australian Schools Swimming Championships being held in Melbourne in July .
Since the Australian Age Championships my times have come down where I should be competitive enough to make the finals in the Opens Mens 50m and 100m Backstroke in Sydney.
Keeping in mind I am only 15 years old, my times are just off the required times to make the team, but my goal is to gain the experience swimming in the heats and finals against the best open age swimmers in Australia.
This experience of swimming at a big meet away from family, home and interstate will go a long way when the time does come in the 2028 swimming trials for the LA Olympic Games. The objective is to make it less daunting and more relaxing for me so I can swim at my full potential on the night .
I also have made the Queensland Schools Representative Swimming Team to compete in Melbourne this July at the Australian Schools Swimming Championships. I will be swimming in approximately 7 events which will spread over several days.
Constantly competing at events around the country is costly and any financial assistance would help in Airfares, Accommodation, Nomination Fees, Apparel, Meals and Uber/Taxi fares.
Any financial assistance would help me immensely in covering the associated costs of attending these two events, and your help would be much appreciated. I have registered through the Australian Sports Foundation, so any financial support would be tax deductible.
