<h2>Our Story</h2><p>We are the <strong>Australian Women’s Floorball Team</strong>, and this December (6–14) we’ll proudly represent our country at the <strong>World Floorball Championships</strong> in Brno and Ostrava, Czech Republic.</p><p><br></p><p>It is a privilege and an honor having the opportunity to wear the green and gold, compete against the world’s best, and showcase Australia on the international stage. But getting there comes with a huge personal cost.</p><p><br></p><p>Each player faces around <strong>$8,000 in expenses</strong>, and as a self-funded team with <strong>25 players and 5 staff</strong>, the costs quickly add up. Unlike many other national teams, we receive no central funding and rely entirely on athletes, families, and community support.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong>WHAT YOUR DONATION HELPS TO COVER</strong></h3><p>Your generosity helps us cover the essentials required to represent Australia at the highest level:</p><ul><li><strong>Uniforms</strong> – wearing the green and gold with pride</li><li><strong>Training camp in Finland</strong> – accommodation, meals, transport, and court/facility hire to prepare against European opposition before the tournament</li><li><strong>Tournament costs</strong> – accommodation, some meals, transport, and an <strong>event entrance fee of $4,830</strong></li><li><strong>Staff support</strong> – ensuring our 5 staff members can guide, coach, prepare and manage the team effectively</li><li><strong>Medical supplies</strong> – keeping athletes healthy and ready to perform under demanding conditions</li></ul><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP</strong></h3><p>These costs are substantial, especially for athletes who are students, young professionals, or balancing families and work.
