The Pacific Rugby Festival is more than a competition – it’s a powerful celebration of culture, community, and connection through the game we all love. Now in its fifth year, this unique event brings together young players from across Queensland, proudly representing their Pacific heritage on the rugby field. Since its humble beginnings in 2021, the festival has grown into something deeply meaningful.As one supporter shared:“This festival is more than just a festival. For some kids, it’s the greatest moment – a chance to proudly represent their heritage.” It’s not just about rugby – it’s about belonging, pride, and unity.“When they put on that jersey, they’re not just playing rugby – they’re carrying their culture, their family, their ancestors,” says one community coach. We’re now calling on our wider community to help us take the festival to the next level.This campaign aims to raise funds to support the essential costs of running the competition, including: <ul><li>Field infrastructure and safety items (like post pads, cones, bibs, gazebos, markers, waste managment, ect)</li></ul> <ul><li>Training gear and equipment</li></ul> <ul><li>Communication tools and logistics</li></ul> <ul><li>Volunteer resources and operational costs</li></ul> With your support, we can deliver a safe, professional, and unforgettable experience for every player, spectator, and family involved. “It’s not just a game.
