The NSW Institute of Sport is a national high performance centre and Olympic training facility based at Sydney Olympic Park. The Institute's purpose is to support Australian athletes to become world's best. We do this via a world's best mindset to coaching, performance support and innovative training environments that allow the NSWIS to support targeted nationally identified athletes and local talent.
 
Our vision is to have our fingerprint on crowded podiums by impacting Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth Games and world championship podium results through highly motivated teams with an emphasis on performance and success.
 
We have a fantastic history of enabling Australian sporting success, with NSWIS athletes winning over 260 Olympic and Paralympic medals. The NSWIS is funded through a combination of support from the NSW Government, national and state sporting organisations, corporate sponsors and individual donations.
