Judo NSW is a not-for-profit organisation set up to support the sport of Judo. Judo is an inexpensive, safe, dynamic contact sport, which is suitable for boys and girls, men and women. Judo NSW is the State Sporting Organisation governing the sport of Judo in NSW and is supported by the Australian Sports Commission and NSW Department of Sport & Recreation Our Vision is to be the leading state judo organisation in terms of membership, participation and achievement in all areas of the sport and its administration. Our Mission is to enhance the profile, participation and achievement of judo in NSW through best practice sports administration & support for the sports leadership aspirations of Judo NSW affiliated Clubs & their membership.

Our program is aimed at improving the club level marketing capability, knowledge and capacity in order to attract new participants to the sport. We are aiming to increase the number of Judokas (people who do judo) in NSW by 15% per annum over a 4 year period, or an extra 1300 members. 

This will generate a number of benefits, including: 

• building the pipeline of competitive and social athletes 
• increasing clubs long term financial viability 
• permanently improving judoka recruitment skills at coach and administrator level. 
• increase financial viability of competition and technical events hosted by JudoNSW
