Scotch College Adelaide has a long history of rowing, with a number of notable wins among both boys and girls crews in its 96-year history. Rowing is a very capital intensive sport as modern boats provide increased speed and efficiency. In 2014, Scotch College Adelaide embarked on an ambitious overhaul of its boat fleet and purchased 25 new boats. The College and the Rowing Parents Support Group are raising the money to pay off that debt.
