This fundraising program will be supporting my campaign to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Money raised will go towards my living expenses, including rent and nutrition, travel costs, both domestically and internationally, and equipment costs. I will primarily be based out of Mosman rowing club, however, in order to gain selection into the 2019 Australian Rowing Team I will be spending periods training in Western Australia, Canberra and Penrith. I will be training full time (3 sessions a day, 6 days a week) with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the Olympics.

I began rowing through my school, St Augustine's College. Under the guidance of Matthias and Judith Ungemach, I made my first Australian Team in 2014, as a member of the junior men's coxless four. Since then I have been a member of the Australian Rowing Team every year, as part of their under 21, 23, and Senior A teams. Recently, as part of the under 23 team, I competed in the lightweight men's single placing 6th at the Lucerne world cup and winning a bronze medal at the Under 23 World Championships.

With the possibility for the removal of lightweight events from future game, this may be my only chance to compete in rowing at the olympics. Being a young athlete, it will be an exciting challenge to compete in a high quality field and to qualify a boat class, the lightweight double scull, that historically Australia has had limited success in.
