My name is Siena Jackson, I am 17 years old and have been selected to represent Australia at the 2018 U17 World Mounted Games Championships in Ghlin, Belgium from the 20th to the 26th of August. This is my sporting dream and I would love to make it come true!

Mounted Games is a fast growing Equestrian sport here in Australia and is a massive sport in Europe. Mounted Games is a series of fast races exciting for participants and spectators alike, performed by a team of 5 riders and 5 horses. The Australian Team will be competing against 14 different countries.

I am seeking support from the community, family and friends to help me be a part of this Australian team and get to Belgium. There is no state or national sports funding for athletes in Australia unless you are going to the Olympics. This is a big ask at such short notice but i am hoping that through local fundraising and donations my participation can be a reality.

The costs for me to travel to Belgium, entry fees, accomodation, food, uniforms, equipment and travel expenses are estimated to be in excess of $6,500. The bonus of me using the Australian Sports Foundation (and not Go Fund Me) is that all donations are tax deductible so you can recoup some of your donation at tax time!
