The Kings Cup at Henley Royal Regatta
The King’s Cup at Henley Royal Regatta in the UK is a rowing race between eight military forces which honours the past, celebrates eight allies ‘fittest and finest’ and catalyses the opportunities for women in the military.. It was last run 100 years ago, at the Royal Henley Peace Regatta, with military crews from New Zealand, USA, UK, France and Canada racing and an Australian victory. Germany and the Netherlands will join those six nations in 2019, each crew racing for the first time at an elite event with male and female military athletes in the same boat.
