Surfing Victoria is recognized by the State Government of Victoria and surf industry as the organizing body for surfing in Victoria. Surfing Victoria conducts a range of age and discipline events, also, educational programs to coaches, instructors, recreational surfers and competitors. Our services are delivered by a key network of regional coaches, affiliated clubs and surf schools. Benefits and insurances are provided to our members and affiliated clubs and surf schools.

Vision- to position surfing as a key sporting, recreational and cultural pursuit for all Victorians.
Mission- to foster and develop members, at all levels through Surfing Victoria competitions, programs, major events, affiliated surf schools and boardrider clubs.
Values - Surfing Victoria is committed to the provision of competitive and recreational surfing opportunities in a safe, healthy and clean environment.

This Development Program will be there to assist Victorian surfers with a focus on youth development who have been identified through our elite surfing pathway. Support can include:

• assistance with travel costs to enter interstate and international events,
• high performance coaching, and
• entry fee assistance.

Funds will be used to assist state team based surfers and Victorian surfers who are selected into Team Australia. 

Surfing Victoria has a pathway in place where Victorian Athletes can compete from Under 8's to Over 65's. This fund will allow Surfing Victoria to help assist members to compete at the highest level in their chosen discipline. As an organisation we conduct events and programs at all levels from Grass Roots Participation programs to the highest level of our sport, the WSL Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.
