Barbarians’ focus is getting a rugby ball in the hand of as many kids as possible so they have lots of fun and enjoy playing rugby. Thank you Australian Sports Foundation for helping to make this happen through Balls4All. Your support helps us to ignite in kids the spirit of rugby and a lifelong passion for sport. The program started in Adelaide's northern suburbs in 2005 with a group of 30 kids. Since then more than 2,000 young people have taken part.

Football is known as the world game but as far as fundraising goes they are falling behind. Aussie Rules' clubs are leading the charge in the number one fundraising spot followed by Golf and then Rugby Union. Stats show that football is still hugely popular in Aus and has the highest participation numbers of any sport which is GREAT NEWS because it means there is awesome opportunity to grow their fundraising efforts in the future. https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/asf-we-can-show-football-the-money-464986 FourTwoFour on Fairfax
Australian football is missing out on vital grass roots funding because local clubs aren’t taking advantage of a more effective way of fundraising says Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) CEO Patrick Walker.
