More adults to get in to Lacrosse

12 January 2017

The Australian Sports Foundation’s Giving4GrassrootsTM program has granted $4,000 to Bayswater Lacrosse Club as part of the Active Adults grant round.

Active Adults is about increasing the number of adults playing sport in Australia and the program comes after studies revealed that the number of adults registering in sport drops significantly once they turn 18.

An article in the Easter Reporter has said that Bayswater Lacrosse Club will use the grant money to fund ‘come and try’ days at the club to increase participation in the sport of Lacrosse.
