10 January 2017

Owner of Willinga Park Equestrian Centre on the NSW South Coast Terry Snow has donated $250,000 to Equestrian Australia through the Australian Sports Foundation.

As reported on www.ausleisure.com.au, Equestrian Australia will use the donation for research and development that aims to reduce the risk to riders and horses during the cross-country phase of Eventing. The generous donation will contribute to ensuring that Australian safety initiatives in equestrian sports are recognised internationally.

CEO of Equestrian Australia Paula Ward said that the donation will go a long way for safety in Australian Equestrian events, “Equestrian Australia is aiming to implement a world class safety program to ensure everyone involved can compete at all levels in the safest environment possible and this will give us the best possible platform to achieve this.”
