Football Operations Funding Program The Aberfeldie Sports Club is a community based sporting club situated in the heart of the Moonee Valley area, fielding female and male junior & senior teams to compete in the Essendon and District Football League (Football & Netball), the Victorian Turf Cricket Association & the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association. Like many aspects within local communities, the operations of the football section have been severely impacted and has experienced a significant disruption to normal activities arising from COVID-19. As a result, the club is exposed to financial headwinds and pressures through a reduction in revenue, which are expected to continue for some time. The football section has worked hard over a number of years to set up and establish a sustainable platform to enable local footballers of all ages to participate in a structured and well supported program, and at a club where families, partners and the local community alike come together to share a great experience. To enable us to continue to deliver an optimal football experience for our community, the club has established an Operations Funding Program where donations will be used to support the operational and day to day aspects of the junior and senior football sections. We are calling on the Aberfeldie Sports Club community, supporters, and all members of the local community to donate to provide financial assistance to our Club. Through the partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, all donations over $2 are tax deductible, and all donations no matter what value will be greatly appreciated by the club. CSA National Mission Christian Surfers Australia Since 1977, Christian Surfers Australia has consistently provided grass roots surfing programs in coastal communities across Australia. Activities are primarily focused on participation and on the wholistic well being of each person involved. Trained leaders and volunteers provide a supportive and safe community for young people (and the young at heart) to enjoy surfing and adventure, whilst being positive role models that encourage healthy life choices and gratitude to the Creator of the waves. What is the CSA National Mission? CSA partners with the Australian Sports Foundation to provide tax-deductible receipts for donors to give toward the success of CSA grass roots programs throughout Australia. Funding will be used to support new initiatives and strategic projects that will better equip and serve the national movement. These crucial projects will encourage growth in the numbers of programs as well as the effective delivery of training and resourcing to leaders and volunteers. The Friends of Gordon Foundation The Friends of Gordon Foundation acknowledges the need to ensure the long term sustainability of Gordon Rugby. Our aim is to support, encourage, develop and promote rugby, thereby ensuring the long term future of Gordon Rugby as a leading and innovative club in Sydney. The Principles of the Friends of Gordon Foundation are. 1. To promote the playing of rugby. 2. To optimize the playing success of the Gordon Rugby Club. 3. To optimize and ensure the financial strength and stability of the Gordon Rugby Football Club Ltd. 4. To support and promote the development of players and coaches. 5. To support the administration of the Rugby Club and its rugby program. 6. To help procure and advance the Rugby Club’s equipment and facilities. 7. To promote the history and traditions of the Gordon Rugby Club. 8. To set as a priority the building up of the Foundation’s capital base so as to provide a “Future Fund” for the Gordon Rugby Football Club. 9. To promote rugby within the local communities associated with Gordon Rugby Football Club and specifically with those Junior Rugby clubs established within those local communities (the Gordon Junior Rugby clubs) where feasible and appropriate. 10. Walking Track Maintenance The Great South West Walk (GSWW) was created by Portland High School Yr 10 students and their families in 1981-1982 and was opened in 1983, when the Friends of the Great South West Walk was formed to manage the walk into the future. The GSWW leaves Portland and heads west through the magnificent Cobboboonee Forest to the SA border, where it meets the Glenelg River. Following the river south, the walk passes through the small hamlet of Nelson at its mouth, then begins the return journey along the wild beaches of Discovery Bay. After a short detour through the Mt Richmond National Park, the walk returns to the coast and the rugged cliffs of Cape Bridgewater, before following the track through Cape Nelson and Cape Grant and the return to Portland. Throughout the walk there are 14 walker campsites spaced between 10 - 20km apart. The Friends of the GSWW volunteers maintained this Walk and have done so continuously since 1983, with teams of dedicated maintenance crews out on the track Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 50 weeks of the year, along with other days for Landcare and specific projects. All donations made through the Australian Sports Foundation are tax deductible and would be greatly appreciated.

The Great South West Walk is a looped walk of 250km and includes the region's most spectacular forests, rivers, beaches and cliffs, stretching west from Portland to the SA border and returning around the coast.

ASCA Coach Scholarship Foundation Raising funds to provide scholarship opportunities to accredited ASCA strength and conditioning (S&C) coaches to assist with professional development. As the Peak Body for S&C Coaches in Australia the ASCA will identify those up and coming coaches who would not necessarily have the resources to further develop their coaching skills. The ASCA Board, all of whom are or who have worked at the elite level of sport, have identified that many up and coming coaches struggle to gain successful full time employment within the industry unless they have exposure to an elite sporting environment. The ASCA Scholarship Fund intends to bridge this identified gap in S&C Coach education where many have the theoretical qualifications but very little practical experience. Our Goals: • To increase the capabilities of S&C Coaches working within the Australian Sporting structures • To establish a self-sustaining scheme to cultivate and advance S&C Coaches. Sydney Real Tennis Club SYDNEY REAL TENNIS CLUB The Sydney Real Tennis Club (SRTC) has signed an agreement with the Cheltenham Recreation Club (CRC) to build a Real Tennis Court and club rooms to add to the existing facilities. With the help of private pledges/ donations and a grant from the NSW Government, there is sufficient financial support to kick off the project, and if all goes according to plan, our new real tennis court will be up and ready for action in September 2024. Thousands of hours of planning, research, documentation and lobbying have been undertaken pro-bono by a small band of dedicated Sydney members, which is not bad considering the club hasn't had a court for 17 years! SRTC now needs everyone who has generously pledged financial support to please contribute money as soon as possible. Any additional money into the building fund is greatly appreciated as there are bound to be extra costs along the way and SRTC is still raising the final money to ensure the court is built to specification. CHELTENHAM RECREATIONAL CLUB The Cheltenham Recreational Club (CRC) was established in 1912 through a bequest of freehold land which can only be used for sporting activities. The club has tennis, croquet and lawn bowl sections. It also have a two storey clubhouse with a bar and restaurant. In October 2018 over 95% of CRC members voted in favour of establishing a real tennis section of the club and to partner with the SRTC to build a new court adjoining the existing clubhouse.

Travelling costs are at an all time high, and travelling with a bike adds huge expense to an already expensive trip. I am a successful Under 21 competitor and current Australian Under 21 National Champion and my dream is to compete in all the UCI World Series rounds. In 2023 I had a successful campaign in Italy and Austria where I achieved a stage win, and an overall 4th place, and am currently ranked 9th in the Under 21 category. I am seeking assistance to compete in Europe from May to September 24 and would be extremely grateful for any support that can be provided.

Mazenod All Abilities Football Club 100km Fundraising Run on Saturday the 20th of April 2024 Jake Walton, a coach at the Mazenod Panthers is completing a 100km run to raise funds for the All Abilities Football club. The purpose of this fund raiser is to assist members of Mazenod Panthers, an all abilities football club, who are experiencing financial difficulties, continue to participate in sport and community interaction. About the Mazenod Panthers: The Mazenod panthers supports teenagers and adults of all ages with intellectual disabilities to engage with social and physical activities. Mazenod Panthers has been in operation since 2005 and has supported hundreds of families to engage with their community. Why are we raising money? Unfortunately, raising children with disabilities is often a costly task, and many of the families who participate struggle to raise the funds to be involved. This social interaction and access to sport is an essential part of these peoples lives, and is vital to their development. The funds raised will be used to support a community fund to assist these families to remain involved with this vital outlet, when they would otherwise have to withdraw.

SYC J70 Sailing Program The Club requires financial support to assist in the purchase of a fleet of up to 6 J70s as well as helping with financing the ongoing costs of delivering the sailing program e.g. coaches, regatta fees, sail replacements, boat maintenance, uniforms. The aim of the program is to train Members, with a particular focus on youth and youth retention, and to produce the skilled sailors of the future. This new and exciting program will provide an affordable pathway for younger members to progress from OTB sailing to keelboat whilst still sailing within their peer group. This initiative is seen as fundamental to improving youth retention and also to making it easier for those leavers in the 25-40 year-old age bracket to make an earlier return to sailing. Members have the opportunity to make an unconditional tax deductible donation to assist in this program. Whilst donors can’t receive material benefits in return for a tax deductible donation, in recognition of any such generous contribution, we will publicly recognise your generosity in club circles.
