Aboriginal Cricket These dedicated Aboriginal cricket programs will ensure that the love of cricket is channeled into activities that allow Aboriginal people to succeed in the game and ensure support is provided for ongoing engagement that reflects how Aboriginal people want to participate in the game either in structured or unstructured competitions. Over time, these programs will also ensure that talented Aboriginal players will remain in the game longer and become role models to inspire the next generation of Aboriginal players. We will be working with other NGOs to ensure that we are incorporating nutritional, mental health and leadership capabilities into all our Aboriginal programs to ensure we are developing participants as good people as well as good cricketers. The dedicated programs are detailed below: School Leadership This school based program uses cricket as the vehicle to provide Aboriginal students with personal development by up-skilling in the areas of leadership, personal development, goal setting, resilience and public speaking through cricket programs. Deadly Cricket Aims at providing Aboriginal youth in regional WA with a social inclusion and engagement program that promotes involvement in cricket and a education in areas such as nutrition, mental health and leadership. Kambarang Youth Carnival A community participation and pathway program aimed at bringing Aboriginal youth living in metro and regional WA together through an annual carnival that promotes social inclusion, health and wellbeing and provides a pathway that links to the WA Aboriginal XI.

Aboriginal people are greatly under represented in community and elite cricket programs, despite there being a strong historic association with the game. 

These dedicated  programs will improve engagement  in schools and the community in ways that are safe, accessible, fun and meet community needs.

Randwick Rugby Development Fund To establish a capital fund to support the development of Rugby Union at the Randwick Rugby Union Football Club. Areas of support may include: Development of training, playing and administration facilities Team travel to state, national and international competitions including transportation, accommodation, competition entry fees Purchase of equipment such as medical, gymnasium and football related technology Player and coach development such as training resources, sports science/sports medicine initiatives, training camps, clinics, courses/seminars and leadership programs Educational assistance such as scholarship initiatives, academic opportunities, work experience and placement High performance programs Grassroots programs History/heritage initiatives such as the collection, preservation, cataloging and display of club memorabilia, and/or the fit out of a facility.

Wanderers Foundation Community is an integral driver at the Wanderers. While football is our primary objective, it is the overall Western Sydney community where we aim to make a real difference. We are a football club for the people of Western Sydney, by the people of Western Sydney. Our resonance as a community club is unsurpassed. With over two million of us that call Western Sydney home, we are the product of our people with football part of our DNA. We are a club powered by the support of our people: young and old, pros and amatuers, families and volunteers. Donation levels and potential impact: $1,200 Delivers 4 free one-hour football clinics in schools and at community events across Western Sydney to promote healthy active lifestyles $2,500 Delivers a free three-hour school holiday clinic in the Indigenous community across Western Sydney for up to 60 kids. Each participant receives a Wanderers shirt, shorts, socks and a supporter membership $4,000 Distributes 200 free tickets to one Wanderers home match, to local community groups who help to make a difference in the Western Sydney community $8,300 Allows a Wanderers Youth Academy player to access the best support and opportunities to develop their football career including 4 weekly training sessions, elite coaching, medical support, equipment and video analysis $10,000 Helps fund one Powerchair team for an entire season including kit, training equipment, facilities hire and weekly training sessions $27,500 Assists with funding our Nexus Soccer Solutions Program which supports 140 kids aged 3-21 from Sudanese communities. Interstate Travel Fund Ursula is a highly dedicated and motivated 15 year old Women’s Artistic Gymnast who trains at Perth Gymnastics Academy. Ursula is competing in the Senior International division, training 28+ hours a week. Ursula has been selected on the WAG State team, representing Western Australia at the Australian Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast May 10-12. We are raising travel and competition funds for this interstate competition where Ursula will be competing against the best WAG senior International athletes in the country. This event is also a trial for representation for Australia at future International competitions and training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra Some of Ursula’s achievements to date are: 2018-23 Representing WA at the Australian Gymnastics Championships 2021 All Around Future International Australian Champion 2022 All Around Future International Australian Champion 2022 Future International Australian Championships Team Gold 2023 represented Australia at the Australian Junior Classic May 6th - All around champion Gold, silver on bars, bronze on Floor 2023 Australian Gymnastics Championships - all around Australian Champion, gold on bars and beam, silver on floor. 2023 selection into the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Paris 2024 camp, training at the AIS Canberra 2023 National Clubs Junior International All Around Champion, gold on bars and silver on beam November 2023 represented Australia at the Tournoi International de Combs-la-Ville in France. Placing 8th on beam qualifying as 2nd reserve. November 2023 represented Australia at the Hopes Olympic Cup in the Czech Republic. WAG Junior International team placed 2nd and Qualified for bars finals placing 5th. Ursula is tracking well on the International Pathway but Perths isolation comes with a huge financial cost - Flights, accomodation, GWA and club travel levy’s being some of the expenses to be met. MUWFC Operations Fund The Melbourne University Women's Football Club (MUWFC) has set up an Operations Fund, where donations will be used for operational items that support the day to day running of the Club. In doing so, we have partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation to enable donations to the MUWFC Operations Fund to be fully tax deductible! In 2020, we will be fielding two teams in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), as well as working with Melbourne University Sport to field teams at the Australian University Games and other intervarsity matches. MUWFC teams will be competing in the VAFA Premier B, Premier B Reserves and Thirds competitions. The cost of running an amateur football club continues to rise each year, with expenses expected to approach $50,000 this season. While our committee are volunteers there are major costs we encounter on an annual basis which we cannot avoid, they include: VAFA Affiliation Fees (>$15k) Coaching Department (>$13k) Football Department (>$8k) Medical Expenses, Insurance, Ground Rental, Equipment purchases Whilst we have great support from sponsors and Club members, our growth and progress up the grades is confined by our limited budget. Magic United Player Pathways 2024 Magic United aim to provide professional development and football pathways to children of all abilities. Players also need equipment to train with. Football in Australia is often run and coached by volunteers who have no history in the game of football themselves. Magic wish to provide an option for families that love football to be in an environment where every child is coached by a qualified coach and where every coach coaches the kids in the same pathway. Where all kids know all coaches and where all coaches know all kids and everyone is celebrated within a true football community. This has enormous benefits for the sport. All too often in football kids feel there is no pathway for them after hitting the age of 11 or 12, if they don't make a rep team or an Academy (NPL) team they are usually lost to Rugby Union, League or AFL as they have not felt any future in the sport they are playing. Younger children need to see from an early age that this pathway exists and need to be in an environment where their love of football is celebrated and they are given the skills and pathways to continue enjoying the sport into adulthood. LHC Rowing Athlete Development Lourdes Hill College (LHC) Rowing aims to raise funds to support the development of our rowers and coaching staff through various fundraising initiatives. Donations to the Athlete Development Fund will be used for a variety of activities to support rower development. This will help to prepare LHC Rowers well for the 2024 season. Mazenod All Abilities Football Club 100km Fundraising Run on Saturday the 20th of April 2024 Jake Walton, a coach at the Mazenod Panthers is completing a 100km run to raise funds for the All Abilities Football club. The purpose of this fund raiser is to assist members of Mazenod Panthers, an all abilities football club, who are experiencing financial difficulties, continue to participate in sport and community interaction. About the Mazenod Panthers: The Mazenod panthers supports teenagers and adults of all ages with intellectual disabilities to engage with social and physical activities. Mazenod Panthers has been in operation since 2005 and has supported hundreds of families to engage with their community. Why are we raising money? Unfortunately, raising children with disabilities is often a costly task, and many of the families who participate struggle to raise the funds to be involved. This social interaction and access to sport is an essential part of these peoples lives, and is vital to their development. The funds raised will be used to support a community fund to assist these families to remain involved with this vital outlet, when they would otherwise have to withdraw.

UQ Rugby League Club Foundation The University of Queensland Rugby League Club is grass roots footy club, more commonly known as the UQ Hounds. We are committed to providing memorable experiences to our members. We play a hard and fast, no fuss brand of footy, and we welcome anyone willing to give the game of rugby league a go. As a University Club we have access to the student body, a pool of potential players from all around the world. Some have never experienced rugby league before and we get to show them how great it is! Rugby league with our club provides opportunities to build long lasting, meaningful friendships, that will continue long after we hang up the boots. The UQ Rugby League Club Foundation (our Foundation) is a non-profit program established by UQ Rugby League dedicated to supporting Rugby League, from grassroots to elite athletes.
