Update: I am stoked to have been named as Vice-Captain of the 2023 Australian Women's Team. This is a lovely acknowledgement of my work within the Women's Squad, and I am excited to see what we can achieve against a formidable NZ opposition.

After attending my first World Championships in 2018, and being selected for the 2020 team (the Championships did not go ahead), I am working towards selection for the 2024 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships team. This begins by qualifying for the 2023 Oceania Championships team, which requires attendance at two selection events. In addition to selection events and training camps, I attend at least 7 events yearly around Australia, Canoe Polo is a 100% self-funded discipline under Paddle Australia, and I hope to reduce the cost of attendance at Summer Series, National Championships, selection events and training camps through this fundraiser. Oceania estimates are around $4,200, excluding selection events/ training camps, and World Championships can expect to be up to $10,000 (also excluding selection events and training camps). These estimates exclude equipment upgrades and attendance at other competitions.

I am dedicated to the sport and am involved extensively as a volunteer at the local and national levels. I have grown the profile and numbers of Canoe Polo in the ACT, particularly amongst Women and young people, and am excited to combine my passion as a volunteer with the opportunity to compete at the highest level.
