The Aberfeldie Sports Club is a community based sporting club situated in the heart of the Moonee Valley area, fielding female and male junior & senior teams to compete in the Essendon and District Football League (Football & Netball), the Victorian Turf Cricket Association & the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association.

Like many aspects within local communities, the operations of the football section have been severely impacted and has experienced a significant disruption to normal activities arising from COVID-19. As a result, the club is exposed to financial headwinds and pressures through a reduction in revenue, which are expected to continue for some time.

The football section has worked hard over a number of years to set up and establish a sustainable platform to enable local footballers of all ages to participate in a structured and well supported program, and at a club where families, partners and the local community alike come together to share a great experience.

To enable us to continue to deliver an optimal football experience for our community, the club has established an Operations Funding Program where donations will be used to support the operational and day to day aspects of the junior and senior football sections.       

We are calling on the Aberfeldie Sports Club community, supporters, and all members of the local community to donate to provide financial assistance to our Club. Through the partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, all donations over $2 are tax deductible, and all donations no matter what value will be greatly appreciated by the club.
