Abigail, from the young age of 11 made the switch from Karate (where she achieved junior Black Belt status and was state champion in sparring at age 10), to AFL rules girls football. She quickly discovered that this was her new challenge and chosen sport to excel in. She has set her sights on a goal to be an AFLW player by aged 18. Her ability has been recognised by the umpires of the Northern Football League where she place 8th in the league after only playing in 8 games out of 13 in 2021 and was selected in the U'16 NFNL girls representative side at just 13 years of age. One year on and she has been selected to represent Victoria at the U'15 Girls Football competition to be held in NSW in late July 2022.
