Hi, I'm Alesha, and I'm a 400m hurdler and 400m runner from Mudgee, NSW, who relocated to Canberra at 16 to further my athletics. 

I was recently selected to represent Australia at the World U20 Athletics Championships for the 400m hurdles later this year in Lima, Peru. I've previously competed for NSW, ACT, and Australia, but this will be my first time travelling internationally to represent the green and gold!

I began athletics through Mudgee Little Athletics in tiny tots and have continued the sport ever since. I am incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me along my journey so far, from the age of 5 to the present.

Last season, I was fortunate enough to break my 400m and 400mH PBs. However, at the end of last year, my epilepsy became uncontrolled. I suffered several seizures and concussions, which resulted in my delayed start to this season. With ongoing medical support and guidance, I have been able to get my epilepsy again under control! Although it was a setback, my goal will and always has been to never let my medical condition impede my performance.
