This is Lexi’s fourth consecutive Australian team, once as a Junior (U19) in Tokyo in 2019 and this year is his third U23 honours.
The selection is the culmination of a huge season of training and racing while managing his math and economics studies, recognised as an Athlete Scholar for the 2023 season.
In 2022, Lex and his crew won a bronze medal at the World U23 Championships in Varese, Italy. With a few rowers returning from that team, they are inspired to improve on that result. 🏅 🇦🇺
We are so grateful for any support to help with the $8k ‘seat fee’ to race in these World Championships, a really important part of the development of up-and-coming rowers.
