My name is Alexander McKillop (Aged 23). I am a member of the OVA Athletics Club, Tasmania and a Tasmanian Institute of Sport scholarship recipient. My coach is Rosemary (Rosie) Coleman.

I have been competing as a T36 Para Athlete since I was 14 in 100m & 200m Ambulant events. My goal is to represent Australia at the Paralympic Games in the 100m.

I have previously represented Australia and medalled in the Melanesian Games in Vanuatu (2018), the Arafura Games (2019), and Oceania Athletics Championships in (2022/2024).

I am so excited to have been recently selected in the Australian Team to compete in the T36 100m event at the World Para Athletics Championships, New Delhi, India 27th Sept - 5th October. I am grateful to be fully funded by Athletics Australia to compete in this event. I feel so privileged to be selected to represent Australia at my first World Championship. This experience brings me closer to my dream to represent Australia at a Paralympic Games.

Due to my disability coach Rosie attends all competitions with me to assist me with my journey. Rosie has volunteered her time as a coach for 32 years and has coached and supported my journey for the past 9 years.

I would like to fundraise to help my coach Rosie to attend the pre-competition camp, and to watch me compete at the World Para Athletics Championships, New Delhi.
