My name is Amali Butcher. I am a 100m hurdler and have recently been selected to represent Australia in the U20's World Athletics Championships in Lima Peru this coming August.
Wearing the green and gold for Australia has been a lifelong dream of mine and I am so grateful to have this opportunity.
From a young age it was clear that I loved to run so my parents enrolled me in Little Athletics at the age of seven. It was at the age of nine when I ran my first hurdles race and found my passion for the event. Through support and dedication I have been working hard to continue my athletics journey.
I am so honoured to have been given this opportunity but along with it are many expenses like travel and accommodation, hence me seeking your support. Anything would help even if it's just spreading the word.
