Hi, my name is Amelia Whinney and I am an aspiring professional golfer from South Australia. I am a member of the Golf Australia – South Australia High Performance Program as a Tier 3 athlete and currently hold an Individual Athlete Scholarship through the South Australian Institute of Sport.

In June, I plan to travel to America to compete in international tournaments. These

events will enable me to earn crucial ranking points towards my World Amateur

Golf Ranking. This can lead to selections in Australian Representative Teams in

the future. The Trip will also give me an insight into what life as a

professional golfer is like, along with allowing me to gain other experiences

that will help my growing career.

July 29^th- August 2^nd: Canadian Women’s Amateur – Royal Colwood GC | Victoria, Canada

If Qualified – August 5^th – 11^th: US Women’s Amateur - Southern Hills Country Club, Tulsa, Okla
