Relocation and Restoration of Ponds at the 15th tee area

Relocation and Restoration of Ponds at the 15th tee area

Raised

$7,689.59

Goal

$20,000.00

The ponds and water features on the 15th fairway were once an attractive part of the general course landscape. Unfortunately they have deteriorated overtime, to the point the ponds are virtually dry, and the water features do not function.

In keeping with the Course Masterplan, it is proposed to shift the ponds immediately to the left of their current position, fill in the existing ponds in front of the tees and this area will become part of the rough leading to the 15th fairway.

The project will reinstate the ponds, the planting and water features and return this to the attractive course feature it was in the past; as well as making the tee shot fairer for shorter hitting golfers.

Items of work include clearing and moving of the ponds, fairway/rough extension, irrigation repair and replacement, water plants and landscaping of the immediate surrounding area.

Expected costs are $20,000 and the time to complete is 3 months from commencement.
