About the project

Presently, the club only has one electronic timing clock, which we use during most sessions. But it is important for this advantage to be available for more than one squad at once, so we are aiming to purchase a second clock.

At 35cm (H) x 92cm (L) this sizeable pace clock is very bright and easy to read, especially when compared with any wall-hung clocks around the venue. It allows the athletes to swim lengths on set cycles, specified by their Coach, and time themselves whilst doing other set tasks. Importantly, it provides swimmers with the independence to focus on their own timings and to be invested in what they are working on, resulting in a greater commitment to and pride in their individual improvements.

Additionally, we need dry-land equipment to assist with strength and conditioning for our athletes. Gym mats, dumbbells, resistance bands and medicine balls can all be used poolside before training sessions commence. A plastic cage would also be required for the secure storage of these items.

The cost of acquiring this new equipment is substantial and we need your help to make this happen. Please show your support by making a donation today!
