I started skiing at 4 years old and competing at 12, however, due to various circumstances, I have never had the opportunity to ski consistently. This has been as a result of many obstacles, including illnesses, injuries, and studies. Currently, I am studying Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne, with hopes of one day becoming a Doctor, however, if i'm being truthful, my passion for skiing is far greater. As a youngster, skiing was a getaway from all the noise going on around me, and I viewed it as an opportunity to connect with not only my family, but also other friends.

Nevertheless, I turned into an adrenaline junkie pretty quickly, pushing myself to the limits in skiing, and when I wasn't on snow, looking for other activities that released the same hormone. Anyways, I apologise, I can talk about this all day; so let me get to the point. The biggest goal in my life has been the Olympic games. I'd be lying if I said I don't think about it everyday. Don't tell the University this (shhhh or else), but I even daydream throughout most of my lectures about being in the start-gate of the Bormio races. This is really important for me, and despite facing many obstacles in my life, I will never stop until I reach this goal.

I have been so very thankful to have received so much support over the past couple of years, most importantly from my family (shoutout to them I know you're reading this!), but also from friends and even strangers! I came to realise that I have never met anybody that has not supported me, either mentally, physically, or financially. And, if I can even build a small community, to cheer for me across the finish line, there is no doubt in my mind that I will be the happiest boy in the world.
