In wake of recent catastrophic weather events around the country which saw significant environmental, wildlife, property and life loss, the Australian Rugby Foundation in partnership with Rugby Australia and the Australian Sports Foundation have launched a fundraising campaign Rugby Aid Appeal.
All funds raised will be directed to rugby clubs and rugby communities that are facing significant damage or loss and need help rebuilding clubhouses and replacing equipment.
The Classic Wallabies will also play a key role in the relief effort by visiting those rugby communities affected by such events to run coaching clinics and to show their support.
Participating in sport and physical activity helps Australians to enjoy healthier, happier and more productive lives. It also helps to bring communities together and benefits the local economy.
United, we can all make a difference.
