Avalon Sailing Club is a family-oriented sailing club, located at Clareville, on Pittwater.

The Club was founded in 1938, and the clubhouse was built in 1958,   

The floor where we store boats is old, uneven and rotting and, in some places it is verging on being dangerous.

With your help we aim to raise $50,000 to replace the floor.

Flooring in five bays needs to be replaced and we are expecting to spend at least $25,000 on material for the floor.

We believe the piers supporting the floor are sound, but until the existing floor is lifted we don’t know the condition of the joists and bearers, so we are allowing another $25,000 to cover the replacement of these items if required.

We intend to use volunteer labour to install the new floor.

Without your help the Club will not be able to commence this project as there are currently insufficient funds due to the successful completion of many other projects over the past years.

So we need your help to start this urgent, safety-related project.
