Having been in existence for 78 years, the Bairnsdale Hockey Club has a long and proud history as a community-based sporting organisation in East Gippsland. We are one of the few clubs, and sports, which can boast a truly inclusive environment with our teams and competitions open to people from all ages and genders.

It is an exciting time for the Club with the near 30 year dream of having a synthetic field constructed at the WORLD Sporting Complex almost a reality, with the field set to be used in 2023 and a new pavilion coming in 2024.

However, with a decline in player numbers due to the deteriorating state of the old grass fields and then COVID-19, the Club finds itself in the position of needing to rebuild both on and off the field.

In launching the 2023 Supporters' Fund, we aim to start to build a stable financial base which can be used to help develop our players, coaches, and officials now and into the future.
