Banks Rowing Club Womens and Mens LW Coxed Eight

Raised

$21,445.00

Goal

$30,000.00

To members present and past, friends of members, friends of friends, parents of our rowers and supporters of Banks Rowing Club

We are seeking to raise $30,000 for the purchase of a coxed eight for use by our women rowers. In the past three seasons we have used eights borrowed from our tenant schools, Loreto and Shelford. While this has generally been satisfactory, it has not allowed us the sole use of an eight during the racing part of the season.

Our women rowers have performed exceptionally well over the past season winning 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze medals at the 2018 Victorian State Championships Regatta.

The eight will also be used by our growing group of lightweight men rowers.

Banks Rowing Club is a non profit organisation, which provides opportunities for an increasing number of young women & men to participate at all levels in our great sport of rowing.

This is a fully tax deductible donation through the Australian Sports Foundation. If you donate $1000 or more you will be elligible for membership to the "Alan Jacobsen Club" and your name will be added to the Honor board in the clubhouse.

Please give generously to this very worthy cause.

This is a call from Jim Lowe, President of Banks Rowing Club
