Baseball Queensland holds the lease for Bannister Park and the facility represents a key state baseball hub, hosting a large number of state programs, trainings and events.

Fundraising efforts here will allow us to divert expenditure from the park and reinvest it into programs and initiatives that benefit the wider membership base.

In addition to Baseball Queensland programs, the facility hosts All Stars Baseball Club, Brisbane Metro region's representative team trials and trainings, Earnshaw State College and other School Sports competitions, and is available for hire for other events (District School Sports) and activities (Community Markets).

The current priorities for infrastructure funding are:

• Whole of Park Masterplan
• Field 1 infrastructure replacement and maintenance
  • End-of-life backnet replacement
  • End-of-life scorers hut replacement
  • Dugout replacement

The funds contributed to this campaign will be utilised for any upcoming facilities expenses. This may include maintenance items, asset replacement or refurbishment or the construction of new infrastructure and is not limited to the items listed above.

Once development of the masterplan is complete, we intend to create an accompanying timeline which will identify priority projects and step through the necessary funding required for each stage.
