Beach Tennis WA – BTWA in conjunction with Scarborough Sports Community Club - SSCC and City of Stirling are about to commence the construction of the FIRST Beach Tennis Club facilities in Australia late 2022 at the SSCC.

BTWA Club will be part of the SSCC. We are a family-based community club that provides opportunities at junior, senior and masters levels - with players for all ages and abilities (from 5 years of age through to 79 and beyond).

Over the past 4 years we have witnessed significant growth within the sport in Australia.

While we have a fantastic growth, we do still lack a facility to make the sport grow more with a proper governance and a proper venue.

The Club is now ready to embark on Stage 2 of the BTWA Beach Arena development - a new club space and club house/shop/storage facility. The Club’s vision is to develop players, tournaments and social events to support Beach Tennis in the local area and for all Club members to use.

 Plans as lodged with council cover the following scope of works:

·       6 courts (Poles, Nets & Lines);

·       lights (LDE Lights, Poles & installation);

·       a social/meeting space;

·       Club House/Office;

·       storage facilities.

Other project involved in this fundraising is to bring the Number 1 in the world Female Doubles to Perth to run a series of training camps to our members and community.

The Club has an infrastructure account in place used to save for this development. Funding for this new development will be a combination of Club funds, fundraising and government grants.

The Club is targeting a fundraising goal of $170,000.00

Please consider donating to help us reach our fundraising goal. Donations made through the Australian Sports Foundation are tax deductible for individuals and companies.
