As exciting as starting a junior team can sound for our club, it brings with it greater challenges compared to most new junior sporting teams. Challenges such as providing the equipment needed for players to compete safely. Equipment can cost a junior player up to $600 and with the cost of travel and the impact of time that is associated with competing all across Victoria, we see equipment being the largest barrier to entry for potential junior players and families.
