When evaluating our projects for this year we identified the following:

• The parlous state of the well-travelled Merchandise Caravan, 

• the less than welcoming ambience of both the Whitehorse Road and Davey Street entrances to the ground, and 

• the lack of a back-up scoreboard for our larger electronic display.

We cannot change the actual entrances however we can significantly renovate the existing structures to provide a very Box Hill Hawks welcome to our members, supporters and guests.

Our world-weary caravan has served us well, albeit it has seen much better days, and the recently announced redevelopment of the City Oval infrastructure offers us the opportunity to develop a true Merchandise Store from which to offer Club merchandise and in which to display items of our long history at City Oval.

Whilst technology plays a major part in all our lives it is fallible as we discovered in round 1 when a software issue left us without a scores display for the VFLW game and it was only minutes before the VFL game that it was rectified. A manual standby scoreboard will overcome such outages.
