Following the intense Trans-Tasman Series, where my performance garnered attention from selectors, I received the call-up to join the Australian Men's National Ice Hockey Team, known as the “Mighty Roos”. The team will leave soon to Slovakia for training camp & compete in 2024 IIHF Men's Ice Hockey World Championships Div 2A in Serbia. 

This invitation is the culmination of years of dedication & hard work to have the opportunity to wear the green and gold again & compete at the international level.

However, with this great opportunity comes a significant financial burden. As an ice hockey player from Australia, the costs associated with representing our nation &  participating in international competitions total to $5000. 

These costs include:

• Travel
• Accommodation
• Team uniform
• Pre-tournament training camp 
• Tournament expenses
• WADA approved supplements
• Recovery resources
• Equipment

Now, with the tournament just a couple weeks away, I find myself faced with the daunting task of raising $5000 within a shorter time frame than usual. Despite the financial obstacles, the opportunity to represent my country fuels my determination to overcome these challenges.
