Hi!

I'm Bridget and my dream is to win the Australian Open tennis grand slam.

My Mum taught me to play tennis when I was four years old, and I have loved it ever since. But it has to be one of the most expensive sports on the planet! Racquets, membership fees, coaching, training - it all adds up, and now that I am trying to focus on the Pro tour and women’s tournaments I need to travel - a lot.

This year I went to Singapore (twice), Thailand and to New Zealand for tournaments. I also travelled to Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Darwin and Adelaide. But to really test myself against the best, I need to travel to Europe. That's where the best competition is and where I'll learn to become a better, more resilient player.

I'm already ranked in the 400s internationally as a junior but this year I achieved my first WTA ranking - 937 in the world. I've relished playing in the women's ITF tournaments. I love the competition and professionalism. I love the challenge.

With an amazing coach - Marc Sophoulis, a stellar fitness team at Elite and lots of support from my sports school, I am set up for a big 2023.

If you can contribute any support to help me train and travel overseas, that would be amazing! I will use the money for travel expenses, entry fees, coaching, physical training, physio and equipment.
