Replacement of the current pitch with a 2.8m wide stick down will greatly increase use for training as it will not be a burden on volunteers to take mats out and retrieve them. The wider pitch will allow for greater satisfaction in the children and youth as they will be penalized less for bowling wides. Having the pitch always available to community and club for training will lead to higher skill levels and greater enjoyment in the sport.
