We are Ad Astra, a Year 9/10 team from Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne, representing Australia at the 2025 STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore!

Backed by Formula 1®, STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) is the world’s largest multidisciplinary STEM competition. Students from around the globe design, build, and race miniature F1-style cars, reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h down a 20-metre track — while also developing a professional brand, portfolio, and engineering enterprise.

More than just racing, STEM Racing empowers students with real-world experience in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, equipping us with the skills, creativity, and confidence to shape the future.

At the 2025 Australian National Final, Ad Astra ranked 4th in the nation and proudly earned the award for Best Industry Collaborations & Mentorships — securing our place at the World Finals.
