‘Ad Astra' has qualified to represent Brighton Grammar School and Victoria in the Australian F1 in Schools championship held in Adelaide this March. The F1 in Schools program is the largest STEM championship in the world with over 17,000 schools taking part globally! The competition mimics the world of Formula 1 by racing mini gas-powered cars, seeking to push the limits of engineering by delivering the maximum amount of performance from a car just 25cm long!

Made up of 6 people, Ad Astra is an experienced team capable of taking on the country and in future the world. Team Ad Astra must raise $15,000 to pay for travel costs and the all-important development of our race car and trade booth. We understand this is a lot of money, but this is what it takes to compete at a state level. We are calling on our community to support us to raise $15,000 before March.
