About the project

BMTA's home at Whites Hill Reserve was built on an old rubbish dump in 1988. Over the past 30 years, our facilities have aged. The ground is moving, the electrics are corroding and now the irrigation system is requiring excessive maintenance as pieces begin to fail.

A brand new irrigation system was planned to be completed in December 2020, however with the impact of COVID-19, it is unlikely that BMTA will have the necessary funds to complete the project.

We have been successful in receiving grant funding in excess of $100,000 from Brisbane City Council however, we must fund the remaining $62,140 to complete the project.

This upgrade will result in a whole new system - one with new sprinklers that reach every part of grass on our 7 fields and allow the fields to be watered more efficiently, saving the association money in the long run.

We understand everyone is doing it tough at the moment, however if you can spare your registration fees, or team fees to help us complete this project, we would be truly grateful.
