All the required funds for our trip to Taiwan is all met and our tickets are all booked for the 43rd William Jones Cup Tournament. We would also like to thank everyone who have sponsored through our fund raising page, those amounts are invaluable, the funds not only assist the players for this trip but also helps BSBL build a foundation for future tournaments to be hosted in Brisbane. BSBL will continue to leave this fund raising page open until the end date.
Taiwan, BSBL is ready and we are coming.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BSBL is a non-profit incorporated association, established to provide keen basketball players of all ages, race and community a friendly and competitive playing field to build relationships and to grow together as a member of the community.
The BSBL Vision is to be recognised Nationally as a professional respected Basketball League that aims to bring people together and giving future basketball talents a playing field to develop, compete and learn to work as a team.
BSBL is one step closer to our Vision as we received an official invite from Taiwan to compete in the 43rd William Jones Cup Basketball Tournament hosted in Taiwan! The William Jones Cup is a well-known International Basketball Tournament hosted annually in Taiwan. This year our BSBL representing team will be competing with 8 other teams from 7 different countries. The calibre of the teams is extremely high with multiple National representative Teams competing in this tournament. This tournament is a great opportunity for BSBL's young talented players to experience playing basketball in the international stage and showcase the basketball talents available in Australia to other countries.
BSBL being a non-profit association tries to keep fees as low as possible in our regular Sunday games, as we believe our priority is to host quality basketball games that EVERYONE can enjoy as compared to making profits. Unfortunately, this belief also means that BSBL is short on funds to support our BSBL talents with this great opportunity in Taiwan.
This is where we need YOU and our great Aussie communities to support us and join us on this dream fulfilling journey. All donations are tax deductible and will be used to support sending our BSBL representing team to Taiwan. We are sure with your support, our BSBL representing team will do our League, community and Australia proud.
Also if you cannot travel to Taiwan on July 13th 2024 to support our BSBL players, you can still join us on this magical journey as I believe all games will be live streamed and televised from Taiwan. We will aim to put the live stream link in our BSBL facebook page closer to the game date so please follow our facebook page for updates.
