The Brisbane Tritons are travelling to London in June for the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) Championships.

This years IGLA is expected to have over 1,000 participants, competing in six disciplines, during a week long competition and culminating with a float in London Pride. Competitors from 82 clubs from 31 nations have already registered. IGLA Championships are recognised by World Aquatics (formerly FINA) the official international body regulating aquatic sports.

The Tritons are looking to send two water polo teams to London. We are looking for partners to help fund the cost of sending our coach, procuring required equipment, and supplying new apparel and merchandise for our players.

The IGLA Championships provide opportunity for LGBTQIA+ athletes to come together and celebrate diversity, inclusion and acceptance in sport.
